Locally Made Silver Starfish Charm

Our Oceans and the fresh sea air drives Sien to keep making and creating wearable pieces of jewellery that can be worn in our daily lives.

This tiny starfish is found on the sands of Scheveningen. There are many types of starfish and are part of the Asteroidea family.  

Sea stars live underwater and during stormy weather they may pop up to the surface. They typically have five arms. The sea star is one of the oldest fossils found. The symmetrical shape with its structure, did left Sien astonished and inspired to cast the real sea star (in fact a 'Haagse zeester') into silver. 

The cute small sea star is through a handmade process casted into a mould and turned into silver. 

If you get to know Sien, you quickly will learn that the nature is a big inspiration and her pieces are made to remind you to the calmness of our Sea.

Making Process:

Every piece is made to order by Sien. This means that the jewellery piece needs at least 2 weeks to be created. Is it a last-minute present to yourself or someone else? Please do not hesitate to contact Sien, and together we can work it out to receive your present in time.

Delivery:

After placing your order, Sien will keep you informed about the status and send your package with a track and trace number.

Once your track and trace number is sent, it takes normally up to 2 working days in the Netherlands for arrival of your package.
